Full Itinerary

14-Day Ghana Nature, Culture & Heritage Expedition

Day 1 – Arrival in Accra

Arrival in Accra with airport pick-up and transfer to your booked hotel.
Meet the team for an introduction and tour debrief, outlining the journey ahead.
Relax and settle in. Overnight stay in Accra.


Day 2 – Accra City Tour

Discover Ghana’s vibrant capital city.
Visit Jamestown, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Museum, Black Star Square (Independence Square), and the bustling Makola Market.
Later, unwind at Labadi Beach.
Overnight stay in Accra.


Day 3 – Shai Hills & Volta River Experience

Depart Accra for Shai Hills Forest Reserve to experience wildlife and scenic landscapes.
Continue to Atimpoku to view the iconic Adomi Bridge and enjoy the serenity of the Volta River.
Proceed to the Volta Region.
Overnight stay in Volta Region.


Day 4 – Tafi & Wli Nature Experience

Visit the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary for a close encounter with friendly monkeys.
Continue to Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfall in West Africa.
Explore the surrounding village and enjoy the natural atmosphere.
Overnight stay in Volta Region.


Day 5 – Boti Falls & Journey East

Experience the mystery and beauty of Boti:

  • Boti Waterfalls

  • Umbrella Rock

  • Three-Headed Palm Tree

Later, embark on a scenic road trip exiting the Volta Region toward the Eastern/Ashanti corridor.
Overnight stay in Eastern Ghana.


Day 6 – Ashanti Kingdom Heritage (Kumasi)

Travel onward to Kumasi, the heart of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Visit the historic Manhyia Palace Museum, the sacred Ɔkɔmfo Anɔkye Sword Site, and continue to Bonwire Kente Weaving Village to learn about Ghana’s legendary fabric.
Overnight stay in Kumasi.


Day 7 – Ancestral Journey to Cape Coast

Depart Kumasi for the Central Region.
Stop at Assin Manso Slave River Site, the final bathing place of enslaved Africans.
Continue to Cape Coast Castle to explore the slave dungeons and the Door of No Return.
In the evening, experience Cape Coast nightlife.
Overnight stay in Cape Coast.


Day 8 – Kakum Adventure & Coastal Experience

Visit Kakum National Park and experience Ghana’s famous Canopy Walkway.
Later, enjoy a boat cruise on the Atlantic Ocean in Elmina.
End the day with a bonfire night experience.
Overnight stay in Cape Coast.


Day 9 – Takoradi, Sekondi & Busua

Explore Takoradi and Sekondi, including a visit to the Bisa Abrewa Museum.
Continue west along the coast to Busua.
Relax by the beach. Overnight stay in Busua.


Day 10 – Fort Apollonia & Nzulezu

Visit the historic Fort Apollonia.
Continue to Nzulezu, the famous village built on stilts, for a unique cultural experience.
Return to Busua. Overnight stay in Busua.


Day 11 – Return to Accra

Bid farewell to Western Ghana and journey back to Accra.
Enjoy a relaxed sunset experience upon arrival.
Overnight stay in Accra.


Day 12 – Leisure Day

A free day to unwind and explore Accra at your own pace. Optional activities or rest.
Overnight stay in Accra.


Day 13 – Shopping & Preparation

Use the day for final shopping, packing, and last-minute experiences.
Prepare for departure. Overnight stay in Accra.


Day 14 – Departure

Transfer to Kotoka International Airport for departure.

Booking & Payment Policy

Secure Your Spot
A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. Full payment is due 14 days before the tour starts. Late or partial payments may result in cancellation and loss of the deposit.

Payment Methods
We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and mobile money. All fees or conversion costs are the responsibility of the traveler.

Currency & Exchange Rate
Tour prices are in USD. Payments in GHS or other currencies use the rate on the day of payment. Any difference due to currency fluctuations is the traveler’s responsibility.


Cancellations & Refunds

  • 30+ days before tour: Refund minus deposit

  • 15–29 days: 50% refund

  • <15 days / no-show: No refund

Force Majeure: In case of unforeseen events (natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, etc.), rescheduling or partial refunds may be offered at our discretion.

Partial Participation: No refunds for missed activities, early departures, or skipped days.


Itinerary Changes

We may adjust the itinerary due to weather, road conditions, or operational reasons. Equivalent experiences will be offered, but changes do not qualify for refunds.
Traveler-requested changes may incur extra costs and are subject to availability.


Health & Safety

  • Travel insurance is mandatory (medical, trip cancellation, personal belongings).

  • Yellow Fever vaccination proof is required; other regulations (COVID-19, etc.) may apply.

  • Some activities require moderate fitness. Participation is at your own risk.


Inclusions & Exclusions

Included: Accommodation, ground transport, guides, and entrance fees for listed activities.
Excluded: International flights, visas, insurance, personal expenses, gratuities, and optional activities.

  • Punctuality and cooperation are required.

  • Disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund.
